Our Key Local Sheffield Initiatives

1. Empowering the Next Generation: Better Learners Better Workers

We believe in building a strong future for British manufacturing and engineering by inspiring tomorrow's workforce today.

SolPro Brazing is a key corporate sponsor and active partner of the Better Learners Better Workers Programme which is lead by The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire.  Working alongside local schools, this initiative equips young people with essential work readiness skills, real-world workplace experiences, and technical insights. Through site visits, mentoring, and practical awareness, we help bridge the gap between education and industry, showing students the rewarding career paths available right here in Sheffield.

2. Supporting Our Region's Families: The Sheffield Children’s Hospital

Healthcare and wellbeing touch every family in our community. We are honoured to support the life-saving work of Sheffield's Children's Hospital Charity in support of Sheffield Children’s Hospital - one of only three standalone specialist children's hospitals in the UK.

Sheffield Children’s Hospital provides world-class medical care to over 200,000 young patients each year from across South Yorkshire and beyond. Through corporate giving and direct support; this helps fund state-of-the-art medical equipment, patient-friendly facility transformations, and vital clinical research to ensure children receive the best possible care when they need it most.

Sport brings communities together, inspiring health, discipline, and teamwork - values that closely align with our culture at SolPro Brazing.

As a key sponsor of Sheffield RUFC, one of the region’s premier rugby union clubs, we are proud to champion grassroots sport in the city.
